Streatley Allotment Society

AGM 2017

SAS's AGM was held on Wednesday 26th April in the Belleme Room in Goring Village Hall. The AGM was followed by a talk given by Graham Talbot of Berkshire College of Agricultural titled 'Growing in a small space'. Draft notes of the meeting together with adopted notes of the 2016 AGM and EGM and copies of handouts from Graham Talbot's talk can be downloaded by clicking the links below.

In 2012 Thames Water leased to the Streatley Parish Council some land near the Streatley Sewage Works. This has now been turned into allotments that are available to all local residents on both sides of the river. The plots have proven very popular and there is currently a short waiting list.

Streatley Parish Council has a memorandom of understanding with Streatley Allotment Society (SAS) who manage the day to day running of the allotment site.

There is a small group of individuals (the SAS Committee) that look after the interests of the plot holders, and they meet informally every quarter. If you would like to go on the waiting list then please get in contact with the membership secretary.

Documents adopted at the EGM held on 27th April 2016 are available as PDFs together with Fee and Deposit Bond levels as set at the AGM held on 26th April 2017 and can be downloaded by clicking the links below.
