Christmas Lights
Last year saw some wonderful coordinated Christmas lights in some of the surrounding villages. With that in mind Streatley Parish Council would like to gauge interest in Streatley for a similar display this year.
Whilst not wanting to be prescriptive in any way, the Parish Council would like to understand if there is a consensus regarding colour and style perhaps, and then help source something suitable. It might even be possible to obtain a bulk discount if sufficient participants come forward.
Keep in mind that it will be up to individuals to buy what they think is appropriate, and purchases would remain their own property. The role of the Council will be simply to coordinate efforts as much as possible, and maybe identify a supplier that everyone can use.
Anyone from within the village is encouraged to participate, but we are particularly keen on including houses on the High Street , Wallingford Road and Reading Road.
