The NAG is a multi-agency, problem-solving group which consists of relevant partner agencies and members of the local community. Streatley is a member of a group which also includes Pangbourne, Purley-on-Thames, Basildon, Tidmarsh and Sulham. Attendees include representatives from each of these Parish Councils, Thames Valley Police, West Berkshire Council and Neighbourhood Wardens.

The NAG meets quarterly and focuses on action to deal with anti-social behaviour such as:

  • Burglaries
  • Vandalism
  • Graffiti
  • Fly-tipping
  • Dangerous dogs
  • Speeding
  • Vehicles using restricted routes such as The Ridgeway
  • Traffic light violations
  • Parking in prohibited areas
  • HGVs which ignore weight restrictions
  • Cycling on pavements and public footpaths
